1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using mimolabs.ai (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MimoLabs ("we", "us", "our"). We may update these Terms from time to time — your continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Description of service
MimoLabs operates mimolabs.ai, a marketing and pre-launch website for Mimo, an AI-powered product development platform for 3D printing and manufacturing.
The Site currently provides:
- Information about Mimo and its capabilities
- A waitlist registration system for early access to the product
- A referral and tier-based reward program for waitlist members
- Contact forms for partnership, career, and general inquiries
The Site does not currently provide access to the Mimo product itself. Product access will be governed by separate terms when available.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Site and join the waitlist. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Site.
By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
4. Waitlist registration
When you join our waitlist, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information — your email address and any survey responses must be truthful and current
- Maintain one account — each person may register only once; duplicate signups will be removed
- Verify your email — you must confirm your email address to activate your waitlist entry
- Keep your information current — notify us if your email address changes
Waitlist position, tier status, and any associated perks are provided at our discretion and may be modified or discontinued at any time. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the product or any specific features, pricing, or timeline.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Game the referral system — creating fake accounts, self-referrals, or using disposable email addresses to inflate your score
- Use automated tools — bots, scripts, or other automated means to sign up, submit forms, or interact with the Site
- Abuse rate limits — attempting to circumvent our bot protection or rate limiting mechanisms
- Interfere with the Site — disrupting or degrading the performance, security, or availability of the Site or its infrastructure
- Misrepresent your identity — impersonating another person or providing false information
- Scrape or harvest data — collecting data from the Site through automated means without our written consent
6. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, 3D models, animations, software, and the underlying code — is the property of MimoLabs or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
"MimoLabs", "Mimo", the Mimo character, and associated logos are trademarks of MimoLabs. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.
You may view and share links to the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from Site content without our written consent.
7. User content
By submitting content to the Site — including survey responses, project descriptions, contact form messages, and profile information — you grant MimoLabs a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process that content for:
- Operating and improving the waitlist system
- Product development and research
- Aggregated, anonymized analytics and insights
We will not publicly attribute your individual submissions without your consent. You retain ownership of any intellectual property in your submissions. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your personal data.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components. We do not guarantee any specific outcome from joining the waitlist, including product access, pricing, or timeline.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MimoLabs and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Site.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims related to the Site shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim — which, for the waitlist, is zero.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site and remove your waitlist entry at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including:
- Violation of these Terms
- Abuse of the referral system or waitlist mechanics
- Providing false or misleading information
- Conduct that we determine is harmful to other users or to MimoLabs
Upon termination, your right to use the Site ceases immediately. Sections 6 through 9 and 12 survive termination.
11. Changes to terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify waitlist members by email or by posting a prominent notice on the Site. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the Site.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Michigan. By using the Site, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of these courts.
